Late 90s Voyage semi sheer embellished cardigan in deep midnight with velvet trims, tonal textured dot detailing and delicate pale pink floral beadwork throughout the neckline and placket.
An incredibly special example of Voyage at their most romantic and theatrical. Soft gothic undertones mixed with hyper-feminine detailing in a way only London labels of that era seemed capable of doing properly.
Constructed from a lightweight semi-sheer stretch fabric with an all-over raised appliqué texture, finished with velvet cuffs, velvet front trim and crystal-style buttons. The pale pink hand-applied floral embellishments running across the neckline create a striking contrast against the dark base, giving the piece an almost antique lingerie or heirloom quality.
There’s a real sophistication to this period of Voyage. Not loud, not overtly sexy, but deeply atmospheric. The kind of cardigan that feels somewhere between clubwear, eveningwear and an art school layering piece.
